Our soaps are made with a combination of food grade oils including olive, coconut, palm and soybean oils. Each bar is enriched with one or more of the following "extra" oils and butters: avocado, sweet almond, jojoba, grape seed, castor, cocoa butter, shea butter, mango butter, wheatgerm and honey. We have included aloe vera to some bars, as it is well known for its healing properties. Vegetable oils are produced from seeds, nuts, beans and grains. Many bars contain natural grains such as oatmeal to provide a gentle scrub, and herbs for color and natural fragrances. These body soaps are geared toward product quality and are not tested on animals. They do not contain anything of animal origin such as tallow (beef fat) or lard (pig fat). The glycerin remains in our handcrafted soaps. We have added "additional" glycerine to some bars for extra moisturizing skin benefits. Glycerin is a natural by-product that is retained in the bars and which moisturizes the skin. Some bars are swirled or tinted with cosmetic grade color.
